Our Edinburgh day tour from Glasgow is a perfect introduction to the sights, stories and secrets of our capital city combined with a visit to the mysterious 15th century Rosslyn Chapel, made famous in Dan Brown’s ” the Da Vinci Code”

The day begins with a 1 hour drive to the historic town of Edinburgh. As we arrive in the medieval old town, your personal driver/guide will help you discover the many highlights of this fascinating city. These will include historic landmarks, old cobbled streets, stunning vistas and a captivating and colourful history. Much of the city is best discovered on foot. So you shall have FREE TIME on your tour to discover the delights and vibrant sounds of the Royal Mile including it’s medieval castle, before meeting up with your driver/guide again in the afternoon.  Before leaving the Royal Mile, you can enjoy a drive up to the spectacular viewpoint of Arthurs seat. Situated above a rocky crag, offering one of the best panoramic views of the Edinburgh’s historic old town.

Leaving the old town behind we make the 40 min drive to the mysterious and fascinating 15th century Rosslyn Chapel. Here you have time to explore the chapel and find out more about the myths and legends surrounding the chapel and it’s connections with the “Holy Grail”. You will also discover the story of the apprentice who was murdered by his master after carving the ornate Apprentice pillar. Leaving Rosslyn, approx 3;30 pm we then make our way back too Glasgow, where we sadly say our farewells.
