Private Custom Tours of Scotland
Explore Scotland with your own private guide and capture our breath-taking scenery, history and culture.
We’re passionate about our country at About Scotland and we want to share it with you.
We want to show you the ‘real’ Scotland, and take you to those ‘wee’ hidden gems you won’t see on a standard coach tour. Our hand-picked tour guides all share our passion and their expert knowledge will ensure you experience the very best of Scotland.
We offer a range of day tours and multi day tours which are expertly planned to make the most of your time. If you have specific places you want to visit we can tailor a tour to suit you. If time is short we can plan a day tour or two for you, or if you have more time to explore we can work with you to create an exciting itinerary of up to 2 weeks, based on everything you would like to see and do.
Our tours are all private so we don’t need to follow strict schedules or rigid timetables. We will plan our day together, decide where you want to go and what you want to see on the way. You will discover our spectacular scenery, ancient monuments and famous battlefields, enjoy the best food and drink from our wonderful natural larder, explore our cultural traditions and learn all about our legendary myths and folklore.
We will take time to see the sites up close, with plenty of photo opportunities to remind you of your trip with lots memories to take home with you.
So whether you want to experience the breath-taking beauty of Scotland’s highlands and islands, explore the magnificent Neolithic sights on Orkney, discover ancient medieval castles steeped in history or experience our wonderful food and drink and perhaps try a ‘wee dram’ at one of Scotland’s world famous Whisky distillery’s, then be assured our guides know the best places to visit and the best things to see in order to make your tour an experience you will never forget.
Our luxurious vehicles with panoramic windows ensure you will travel in comfort throughout. All have plenty of space for luggage and on board facilities include air conditioning, USB ports and complimentary refreshments.
Our multi day tours are offered as a package including accommodation, ranging from 3 to 5 stars. We work with an excellent range of hotels, family run guesthouses and B&Bs, where the hosts share our passion for our country and excellent customer service. Just let us know your preference.
Our tours usually start in Glasgow or Edinburgh and we will collect you from your hotel, but we can also begin your tour from all major airports, train stations and cruise ship terminals in Scotland.
